Angelica Honey

Health benefits: The honey gives anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antiviral action. It is used for prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis, arterial tension instability, and ischemic heart disease. It has a favorable effect on general condition of a skin, provides for cell regeneration, and considered as potent anti-age remedy in cosmetology. Have you ever heard this name? My question is not accidental. Angelica honey is really not known to everyone, unlike, for example, herbs or buckwheat honey. Real angelica honey is considered to be one of the rarest and the most expensive honeys in Russia. And despite the relatively high price, you will not always find angelica honey on sale.

 The fact that angelica honey is one of the rarest varieties of Russian honey is explained by the relatively small area of growing of wild angelica in nature. There are not so many apiaries located near forest rivers in Altai and Kemerovo region where it is possible to collect the real monofloral honey. But those who specialize in production of the angelica honey consistently delight me with its unusually deep color, gorgeous flavor, and harmonious, rich taste.

 The color of angelica honey is unusually deep, dark-cognac, bright, and incredibly beautiful. It seems to shine from within. Crystallized angelica honey looks like buckwheat — it is also dark-brown, and it can even be confused with buckwheat in color. Only in color, but not in flavor and taste.

 Angelica honey has amazingly bright and cheerful flower fragrance. A fragrance that is remembered immediately and for a long time. Harmonious taste, bright, and rich. Very pleasant and long aftertaste.

It requires great efforts and knowledge. Each bee keeper finds themselves facing a choice which methods to use – those making it possible to harvest maximum honey of a lower quality with minimum efforts or those that will allow to collect honey of a perfect quality in spite of using more labor-intensive processes. We only work with bee keepers, who, when making a choice, listen to the voice of conscience.

Honey harvest

Our bee keepers harvest honey at pure fields and meadows that were never exposed to chemical treatment, nor affected by loud motor roads and industrial plants. For prophylaxis and treatment of bees’ illnesses they use only natural technologies that are safe for the health of insects and for the environment. As a result, you get honey without traces of antibiotics, metabolites, nitrofurans and other unacceptable components.

Our honey is not thermally processed. This means that in the process of production, the honey is heated till the hive temperature of 38°C. This minimal processing technology does not destruct amino acids and ferments in our honey, which allows our honey to have:

Higher percentage of nutrients
Keeps natural honey ferments that help the digestion
Retains amino acids that have a positive effect on our body in general
Natural crystallization that the thermally processed honey cannot have
